This oval flanged bearing unit complies with the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS). Includes flush bearings that lock onto the shaft with an adapter sleeve to allow the bearing to operate at higher speeds and run more smoothly in applications where the direction of rotation is fixed or alternate. The bearings are mounted in a cast iron housing and can be bolted to the machine sidewall or frame. Ball bearing units can tolerate moderate initial misalignment, but axial displacement is generally not allowed. Adapter sleeves are not included in the unit and need to be ordered separately.
