Radial shaft seals with small cross-sections are used in bearing arrangements in combination with needle roller bearings. This contact seal is designed without a clamping spring. The Type G single lip seal is made of rubber. The sealing with a shaft diameter of ≥ 8 mm is reinforced with a steel skeleton. The rubber wrap design enhances the sealing performance around the housing bore and reduces the risk of damage to the seal and housing during installation and disassembly.
